According to the report from Forrester Research, from 2000 to 2004, the sum of growth rate of Electronic Commerce among European countries was increased by 100 per cent each year, and total trade amount will be reached to Euro 160 billion in next four years which accounts for 6 per cent in overall trade amount of Europe.

In the United Kingdom, the rapid development of Broadband services generates massive the Internet users. According to the official figure released by www.statistics.gov.uk in August 2005, around 55 per cent British households (13.1 million) were using the Internet at home, and there were 58 per cent household from those have been shopping online.
